hi David, thanks for your reply.  I did use that same xml-importer.js
from the trunk and copied it locally.

however, it is still not working - exhibit comes up empty.

are there other dependencies for the xml-importer.js that are only in
the trunk?

i mean, i am using:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://api.simile-widgets.org/
exhibit/2.2.0/exhibit-api.js?bundle=true"></script>

with local copy of xml-importer.js:

<script type="text/javascript" src="js/xml-importer.js"></script>


..

Should I be using the development trunk entirely?
