Hi, I'm working on a website about evolution. I want to use the timeline to show all of the important dates in evolution. The problem is that some are from 220 million years BCE while others are from 100 years ago. I've looked over the dinosaur example, where individual units are defined but I'm not sure if that solves the problem completely. Could I define a day as the smallest unit (a second), and then have up to 864,000,000,000,000 days instead of 864,000,000,00,000 seconds? And then just set it up as day = 1, year = 365, century = 36500, millenium = 365000, etc. Would this work? And more importantly, how would I go about doing this? I can't find almost any documentation, Just this: http://josh-in-antarctica.blogspot.com/2008/03/simile-timeline.html The website is here (It only displays the events in chrome, not sure why): http://evolucion.masporfavor.com/
