Hi all, If an item has a value that is itself an item, how do I get exhibit to display the values of the second item when I've selected the first item? In my example, I have a google spreadsheet that has as items excerpts of texts, and among the values for the texts are vocabulary words. The vocabulary words are themselves items. I want to be able to display the definitions of the vocabulary words whenever the texts that have those vocabulary words are selected.
As it is, the vocabulary terms display bolded and you can click on them and see the definitions, but I want this content to display directly. Any help with this (independent of the complication or details that I mention below) would be greatly appreciated. This is complicated because I've used two different collections, one with the itemTypes that refer to the different documents in which the texts appear, and one with itemTypes that refer to the different kinds of vocabulary terms. (This doesn't appear in the file I post below because it messes up the file). I'm having difficulty with dealing with different collections with different lenses. Just to make it more fun, the exhibit is bilingual (Hebrew and English), uses the cloud tags, and has different sets of facets in different layers that replace each other. If you want to see what I've got so far, the exhibit is at http://fc.gannacademy.org/gannopedia/TSBP/tsbpdatabase.html If you go to the glossary page and click on the highlighted Hebrew terms, that is some of what I want to display directly in the table. (And those highlighted terms don't show up in IE!?) Thanks, Jeff Spitzer -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SIMILE Widgets" group.
