So here are some partial answers. The thumbnail view (the one your are
using) does offer an ex:showAll attribute that, if set to false, will
show only the first few items matching the current facet selection.
However, it does not offer a "next" link to see a few more items
matching the selection. It does offer a link to see all the rest---ie,
flip showAll=false to true and back again.
The tileview (ie list view) does have some experimental support for
pagination via ex:paginate=true . It would be natural for this
attribute to be available for thumbnails as well, but nobody has
implemented it yet.

Hi
I am a newbie working on a artwork library with thumbnail based on the
great demo below:
http://ginatrapani.org/workshop/data-vis/playbills.html
In our version (an artwork library), we're now reaching 500 items and
growing in my list which takes a lot of time to load... especially in
IE and S
afari.
Since our users don't all use chrome or firefox, it would be great if
I could cut the number of items displayed on the page to 150 or 200...
Is there any way to customize the display with a limited number of
items and have a "next" button like in Google?
Is it possible to do this with a programmer? Any idea as to the skills
required?
If you have any advice, I would love to hear it!
Thanks a lot
