Another thing about the polygons/polylines is that it is not really
that intuitive as far as knowing that the polylgon or polylines are
"clickable"
the only indication is the "grabby hand" which does not really convey
the common user experience such as the "pointy finger" when hovering
over a hyperlink, as a result we ended up inserting the balloon
markers as well.
if you did not want the balloon markers then do not insert a value
for  "geolatlon"...
we used google earth to create the polygon and polyline coordinates
then used: ex:latlngPairSeparator="|"
and separated the lat/long pair values with the pipe symbol...
