Hello, I am looking for an existing API that would help me to develop a mach up of RDF data. I have a couple of general questions to developers experienced in Timeline and Timeplot Widgets to understand if I these widgets are suitable for my purposes.
I was wondering how do events are represented on the Timeline? For example, if I have two different events, then which one goes upper, and which one goes lower than the other on the Timeline? I am asking because in my data I would like to put events on different levels depending on some attribute of the data, i.e. I would like to have a vertical axis in Timeline. This looks pretty much what Timeplot has, but I do not want to draw a line chart. I want to represent my data as intervals and be able to look for more details of each events. So, my question is, it is possible to use Timeline and embedd the functionality from Timeplot responsible for creating a vertical axis and plotting different events on different levels depending on the vertical axis's value? If so, how difficult is it for somebody who has no JavaScript experience? I apologize if this is a silly question, but I would like to know this before starting digging into the issue...
