Greetings, A quick update on some of the continuing progress on Exhibit 3.0 development. We've added a "control panel" UI element to carry Exhibit-wide widgets, like the new bookmarking widget. We're doing some experimenting and also moved the toolbox widget (the "scissors" containing a drop down with export methods) into the control panel. Some of the original features haven't quite made it in - no showing or hiding on hovering, and the export of view generated HTML needs to be amended. You can see it in action at
http://databench.zepheira.com/demos/senate/senate.html We've launched a site to use the trunk of our GitHub development so you don't have to host your own copy of the code: http://trunk.simile.zepheira.com/exhibit/3/api/exhibit-api.js Expect to see the path change when 3.0 is officially released (we'll set up redirects then). You may have noticed we've also moved the Scripted demos off our continuous integrator into their own space (they're now linked in the sidebar of the continuous integrator's Exhibit 3.0 project page instead of the list of generated content): http://databench.zepheira.com/demos/ As for Backstage, work continues on examining using a disk-based database store approach to supplement the current memory-based approach. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SIMILE Widgets" group.
