Implemented SIMILE Timeline in our project and it works great in all
the browsers except for IE.
Problem:
We have our Timeline in an .ascx control. On initial load of the page
everything looks great but after any postbacks that happen by clicking
on different buttons Timeline does not re-render properly. It comes
back as a mess. All the dates of the bands are stacked one underneath
the other as well as the events from the data source. In addition to
that the timeline width is no longer as specified. This only happens
in IE as FireFox, Safari and Chrome seem to not have this problem at
all. In addition and F5 refresh of the page renders the timeline
properly.
Tried: Stripping the code to basics - one band, no eventSource, etc...
still happens.
Compared the htm of both the working case (ViewSource - save
as htm) and the broken case (ViewSource - save as htm) - FILES ARE
IDENTICAL!
