The "and" is being generated because exhibit thinks you have multiple
values for the property you are showing.
e.g. if your exhibit contains {label: "example", name: ["David",
"Joe"]} so that the name property has multiple values, then if you put
<span ex:content=".name"></span> you will get "<span>David</span> and
<span>Joe</span>" in your output html.
If the second span is empty, it suggests your data is setting a second,
empty value for your field.
