(forgot to add: the mechanism is that if you specify your data-file link to be an anchor (#foo), it looks for that anchor in the same document.

  <link href="data.json" type="application/json" rel="exhibit/data" />
...having only one single HTML file.

(in my case, data+html is generated dynamically and i would prefer it to be all-in-one, if possible)
