I don't know if this also a new feature or my page did work all the time with version 2. Version 1 does not seem to be hosted on simile-widgets.org. The Wiki redirects to the MIT documentation. I haven't seen an anouncement on this list, that static.simile.mit.edu is deprecated. I do unterstand that it won't be around forever, and keeping this version alive for so long is more than I can ask for, but a gentle warning would be nice. Silently redirecting to another version of the API and hoping everything will work is probably not a good idea...
