Hi Jon, We've configured the server hosting static.simile.mit.edu to serve up the same files as api.simile-widgets.org for the time being to smooth over this problem.
In the future, we'll look at sending an HTTP 301 (Moved Permanently) response instead, which is more semantically appropriate.
