Hello David,

Thanks for your feedback.

Good to know that you are working on a successor. The example you have shared doesn't seem to be the good one (I don't see a menu and I'm not able to edit the data). Could you please verify ? (tested in IE v11 and Chrome v34)
Sorry, wrong link. Try
http://people.csail.mit.edu/karger/EConfDev/exedit.html

right now it appears to work on ff only; will be easy to fix but I haven't been careful on compatibility.

I didn't know that E3 Scripted was now able to process about 100K items. Where can I find more infos about this point?
No substantial info---we just found a few things that were really killing performance and changed them (quadratic to linear). You can see an example with 25K items at http://simile-widgets.org/exhibit3/examples/other-versions/HEAD/big/big.html , and if you check out the repo you can switch the data link to the 100K item file in the same directory .

Brice

Hello Brice. Dido hasn't changed since I published the paper
about it; however, I've been working on a successor WYSIWYG editor
for exhibits that you can see at
    http://people.csail.mit.edu/karger/EConfDev/blank.html (code at
    https://github.com/karger/exhibit-conf ). I haven't had time to
tackle it during the academic year, but I hope to advance it to
    alpha status this summer.  It's already working with E3 scripted;
I've made no attempt to try exhibit staged (and now that scripted
can handle 100K items it isn't clear staged would be useful anyway).

    Hello,

I didn't really have the time to look into DIDO, but recently a
colleague of mine remember me the Data Interactive Document :
    http://projects.csail.mit.edu/exhibit/Dido/

Does someone have already use it in production mode? Have you got
    any feedbacks to share?
Is it also working with Exhibit Scripted? Staged?

THanks you in advance for your reply,
    BR,

    Brice
