Hi Everyone,
Just found Simile/exhibit when searching for an open source dynamic tabular
view via a webpage. I'm really impressed with how quick it is go get
going, and straightfoward documentation. I have one sticking point now, on
my webpage, users have the ability to filter "project' by different
criteria (assigned division, fiscal year, project sponsor). Each project
has a cost. I'd like to be able to display the sum of the filtered values
somewhere on the page. For example, If the user filtered projects by
assigned division, and there are 3 projects in the division costing 1000,
4000 and 5000 dollars. I would like the total of 10,000 dollars to show on
the page. However, if they then filtered by fiscal year, only the 7
projects for that fiscal year would be displayed, and the total would be
available somewhere on the page.

I've searched through the mailing lists and wiki, and seen a couple of
references to to something similar, but nothing on the mark. If I'm
missing something obvious, I'd really appreciate a example, link or info;
or if Exhibit/simile really doesn't have this functionality, letting me
know that would be great as well to reduce the amount of tail chasing
(smile).

Thanks,

Jeffrey
