Imagine you have a timeline with a list of events displayed below it, that
list could be 100s of entries so following a common ui convention, there is
a scrollbar that lets you go up and down
through the list of events. Whatever item is currently at the top of the
list of events in your view of them should be center'd on the timeline. On
the flip side, if you scroll the timeline, the center
event on the timeline should be the top element in your list view.

Is this possible with simile? I havent even seen a list view yet (or
tabular) that has a scroll bar, only i have seen "pagination". I could
simulate this by having two timelines
one that is horizontal and one that is vertical and then synch those
together, but I have only found support in simile exhibit for coordination
on selection and not on scrolling.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
