Luis, it looks like you've caught a flaw in exhibit. Because the id is
the "primary key" identifying an item, we index everything *associated*
with the id but don't index the id itself. This is something we should
probably fix.
It won't help you build paths, but note that when an item is rendered
using a lens, it gets an "itemid" property whose value is the id of the
item being rendered.
