hi Akash, date numbers in file names can be handled with a symbolic link which can be created from Calendar rule each midnight. Here are links to relevant posts in mailing list archive: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=26661175 http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=26662612 The basic idea is to have a constant name (symbolic link) without timestamp in the file system, which would be pointed to a relevant log file with a timestamp at the beginning of a new day. with kind regards, risto
