If I want to gather stats and have them output every minute, will eventgroup allow me to do this, even if no matching events arrive some of the time?
or will eventgroup only start it's timer when the first matching log event arrives? for example, I want to create a whole bunch (a few thousand) stats based off of different log events, and I want to end up with one set of summary logs per minute (a set only because I can't fit thousands of stats in one message reasonably), but the logs I am looking for are being scraped from a flat file on the sending side, so there may be no logs arriving for the first 40 seconds of a minute.
