Also, you can have a look at the "Documentation" section in the sec home
page -- this section provides links to several papers which contain a
number of rule examples. For learning sec, you can follow the discussion in
the papers and try out the rules on a test node (any unix-like OS with
relatively recent perl is suitable for test environment). Finally, the
official documentation (http://simple-evcorr.sourceforge.net/man.html) also
provides many rule examples.
