Ryan, I went through all my code to make sure it is clean. I'm going isolate some of the code to run a test for a few days, and see what happens. If something pops up, I will give you as much information as I can. Also, I'm going re-do my ftp password to something outrages. I really like SimplePie, and I don't want you to think I was putting the blame on it. I just noticed the fake scan would pop-up during the rss feed loading, and I isolated it first. I'm not disregarding the fact that my host server got hacked.
Below is my test page with clean code: On the left panel is where the rss feed was, and replaced with a simple text link. It has been 3 days, and so far so good http://www.mustangsandmotorsports.com/about-rpmm.php David -----Original Message----- From: Ryan McCue [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, May 14, 2010 09:18 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [SimplePie] Malware issue [email protected] wrote: > Should I be uploading my files through their program? It should make no difference either way. They're both just FTP programs. To my knowledge, no such vulnerability exists, but it's always possible that one does, but without further information, I'm afraid I can't help. -- Ryan McCue <http://ryanmccue.info/>
