Beyond All Goals Is the Christ of Your True Self

Excerpt, ACIM-Text, Chapter 15, Section I, paragraph 2:

"To the ego the goal is death, which is its end. But to the Holy Spirit the goal is life, which has no end."

Life has no end, and thus not being in time, is not really a goal, for goals are false ideas of the future, fraught with expectations seemingly capable of variable outcomes, opening upon fear that need not be, and which you discover you do not want.

Excerpt, ACIM-Text, Chapter 17, Section V, paragraph 3:

"For once the unholy relationship has accepted the goal of holiness, it can never again be what it was."

Holiness is already wholly true, and unholy relationships were never unholy, thus as attention returns its gaze, the dream of holiness as a goal is let go as its light washes over the soul, renewing awareness to the mind it never left, thus restoring whole vision.

Excerpt, ACIM-Text, Chapter 17, Section V, paragraph 6:

"This is the time for faith. You let this goal be set for you. That was an act of faith."

Faith, the substance of the unbreakable covenant of faithfulness, from which truth shines throughout the mind of god, reminding its altars of their holiness, is the source of creation and thus the source of love, or in other words, of your life and reality. In your belief in dreams, you admit this light, and setting your vision upon it, you thought it a goal, and yet as its radiance opens your vision even further, you see and understand that this faithful vision could never be a goal, but instead is and has always been your perfect reality of peace. Herein lies certainty at last, where all turns in the road suddenly meet in a peaceful coalescence that brings a smile of joy to your face, and brings laughter bubbling up from a fountain deep within. As you watch breathlessly, you see this river of your very self flow out across the world, in numberless rivulets that cross and overlap and share you without care, condition or even the slightest judgmentâglowing and sparkling with a light thought lost, and which now illuminates your creation and brings it to remembrance once again. Seeing these, your children, who together are your father, no words come to hold them to limitation of defined configuration of any moment's memory. They are free as you are free, for they indeed are in and of that same river of light, ever beaming the whole knowledge of god throughout an infinity of altarsâa sonship seen now as holy indeed.
