A Call to Service
God gives freely, your treasures, your talents, your uniqueness. When received openly and given freely this is your service. . What God has given only needs to be received. What you have received only needs to be given. The indivisibility of God is simply this: an unbroken chain of giving and receiving. This is a definition of unity as well. All your worry over the future and the past is but a worry about the gifts given and missed. You feel you have passed up opportunities. You fear that a different decision would have changed your life or another's for the better. You regret mistakes you made. You fear that it is too late to take of advantage of future opportunities. What peace you will know as you realize that all gifts come but once and are forever. The past and the future matter not. All is available in the here and now where giving and receiving occur. No chance to learn to grow is ever missed. Each still exists, but only in the present. All you need do is replace your attention on the past and future with a willingness to be present now.
