The story I never miss any chance to tell again:
my first server was a venerable IIsi, 80/17, and a ethernet card. It was running SIMS
and NetPresenz and the performances were quite ok, while not tremendous of course. I
had less trouble than with today's G3 and the bloated ASIP - SIMS remains stable year
after year.
