I know you're not supposed to do what I'm doing but I do it anyway:
For convenience we have an account that two users fetch and send mail
through. The problem is that when both users try to access the account at
the same time one of them gets a dialog that says "Invalid usercode or
password, please try again." That's ok but in the SIMS log there is an entry
of the password in clear text although we are using APOP. Like this:
12:55:40 1 SYSTEM Account {leverans} password rejected. APOP method is
required
12:55:40 1 POP {leverans} is not open: password(xxxxx) is wrong. Connection
from [213.66.212.218:65393]
We're using 1.8b8 by the way.
