Hello,
Last week one of our mail servers got slammed with 19,000 messages. The poor
100 MHz
machine ground to an apparent halt with 12k+ messages in the queue. Much mucking
about later,
including freeing up space on the filled hard drive, I moved the queue folder
elsewhere and
restarted SIMS. Unfortunately now SIMS doesn't seem to delete incoming messages from
the queue
folder after they have been delivered to local accounts. When you click on a message
in the
queue web page the status is "delivered" but the message stays in the queue. It don't
know if
it is significant, but in the queue web page, the recipients are all in italics. Below
is the
of a test message to an account ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) on that machine
(mail.reasonabledoubt.com). Any ideas?
