I meant the SIMS archive; but as you mention it, WebCat might have some items too. I just remember getting everything that I needed from the SIMS list.
I just have a simple little script where a user can change his/her password from the website. It asks for a username and old password and verifies the old password against that stored in the user database. From there it asks for a new password, stores it in the database, and issues the AppleScript to SIMS. It should be pretty easy to crank out a script in WebCat that verifies whether or not a requested username exists and then issues the command to create the account on SIMS. If you wanted to get fancy, you could even pre-define some alternate username "tag-ons" in case the requested username is already taken. Just a little bit of my $.02.
