Hi guys, I have gotten SIMS up and running on a mac acting (using appletalk only) as a local server only with Claris E-mailer-2 as the client software.
Whenever an e-mail is sent via SIMS the recipient always has it dated with an incorrect day, date and year but with the correct time. When I checked the account files SIMS appears to have inserted a line above the routing info with a time that is 1 hour behind the time the e-mail was sent. (see example below) Playing around with the various time settings of any or all of the serverand client macs has no effect on this discrepancy. Am I missing something really obvious here? Example message:- >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Oct 19 08:54:05 2001; 000000061662 Return-Path: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Received: from Claris ([65280.128:230]via AppleTalk) by gateway.local (Stalker SMTP Server 1.7) with SMTP id S.0000061662 for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Fri, 19 Oct 2001 09:54:04 +0100 Subject: time test Date: Fri, 19 Oct 01 09:54:04 +0100 x-mailer: Claris Emailer 2.0, March 15, 1997 From: Server <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Phil Richardson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> time test ############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
