Well, much as I hope people will use the SBL (spamhaus.relays.osirusoft.com), in part because I run Spamhaus.org (on a bunch of G4 Macs :-) I have to say that SPEWS is also listing lots of open SOCKS proxies and that's important because since the major ISPs locked down port 25 the general shift in stealth spamware has been towards spamming through open SOCKS proxies (of which there are quite a lot around). So I'd continue using both SBL and SPEWS for the time being - it doesn't waste anything querying both since SIMS stops at the first hit it finds anyway.
