The address you see in the to field in the header while reading your mail 
has nothing to do with who the mail was to. All mail servers including SIMS 
deliver mail based on the "envelope" which is transferred before the email 
(and header). It is that envelope (that may specify many destination 
addresses) that is used to forward or deliver the mail.
