An even simpler way to hide your address from harvesting bots is to use the
hexadecimal codes for each character, instead of the actual character.

There is a form that explains how it works, and even does the hex conversion
for you here:
    http://www.u.arizona.edu/~trw/spam/spam2.htm

The html to embed a link to my own address would be as follows:
<a href = "mailto:%6B%6C%65%69%6E%40%70%77%62%2E%63%6F%6D";>email me</a>

To a spambot, that's meaningless.  But if a user click's it, s/he can send
me mail.
