3Com doesn't support the mac.

You will need a different card. I have had good luck with a Sonic PC card 
on my pb1400, but I am not 100% sure they still sell them (I think they 
are dealing only in firewalls now).

I am not sure WHO is still in the PC card ethernet market on the mac.
