I friend of mine's mail server ended up on the ordb list
(falcon.genetronics.com). When I look it up at ordb to view the test
that got him landed there, I see this, among other things:

First submitted by: 207.12.88.58 spam submitted to Spamcop

when I click on the link to spamcop, I see that whatever entry I
would have gotten is 'expired from the cache."

when I do a lookup of 207.12.88.58, I get

58.88.12.207.in-addr.arpa PTR 3600 sam.julianhaight.com
sam.julianhaight.com A 171389 64.90.162.91

which all looks quite suspicious to me as none of this appears to
have anything to do with falcon.genetronics.com.

sam.julianhaight.com is apparently a name server for the domain
julianhaight.com. Why would a PTR record be that different for a name
server from the A record? Why would a name server be somehow
associated with an action at Spamcop?

This is the first time I've ever tried to track something through
spamcop. At their site, it might appear I need to subscribe to
investigate further?

Any rapid insights?
