When making an entry in the rbl servers list, we can also, add a rejection message. An entry looks like this:
rbl.host.name "Some text explaining the message" An example is: spamhaus.relays.osirusoft.com "Please see <http://relays.osirusoft.com/> for information" The question I have is this: Only the first 63 characters of the rejection message (the quoted text) shows up in the log when mail is rejected. Does the entire rejection message get sent to the sending host -- or only the first 63 characters? I've found that a lengthier message is needed to try and clarify which server is rejecting which. People whose mail was rejected typically thought that my SIMS server was blacklisted. So, I made my rejection messages a bit longer so as to clarify which server was blacklisted. In looking through my logs, I see that only the first 63 characters of the rejection message is logged. I'm hoping that the entire message gets sent. Does it? Or are we limited to 63 characters? -- Internet Tools for Business -- <http://www.CyberSpaces.net/> E-commerce web hosting ############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
