Right.  The docs are not clear.  HOWEVER.  MSFT is set to always use 
AUTH and it is NOT using AUTH unless the SIMS server reports AUTH.

Hmmm... If I set something to "Always do this" I expect it to ALWAYS 
DO IT.  Period.  If my telling it to always do it results in an 
error, then it should come back and say "Sorry master, I tried to do 
what you told me to but there wass an error and here it is."

Yup.  Stalker could make money supporting SIMS. No question.  They 
don't want to though.  Wanna start SIMS TechSupport, Inc?  We could 
split up the calls where I take all the easy "level 1" questions and 
foist them off on you when they get hard.  :)
