PROBLEM: In sending HTML messages to Big Pond in Australia via SIMS, we often received the following error: "Failed to deliver your message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]: SMTP: The letter body is rejected by host Host 'extmail.bigpond.com' says: 550 DATA line too long (Max 1024)"
In response to a suggestion from Terry Allen of heard.com.au at The Entrance, I checked the HTML code of one of the rejected messages and found a line which was 1126 characters. Reduced that to under 1024 and Big Pond accepted the mail. Restored the line and Big Pond rejected it. Ours not to reason why ... Here's to Terry. And I hope someone else is saved heaps of frustration one day. ############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
