16,000 emails over _five_ hours and that crashed their servers? Sheeze, I've a little 40 MHz/48 mb 68040 server with SIMS 1.8b8 that handles that when the Nigerian spammers come a'calling. Not that it didn't slow down a bit, but it didn't crash. I think it actually handled 19,000+ emails on the worst attack. Wonder what the USOC's servers are doing with their extra Gigs of speed and RAM...
