Since I made the RBL servers change a week or so ago I have noticed a nice drop off in Spam. Both my main email addresses were harvested from networksolutions (a client of mine addresses them as networkproblems when he talks with them ;-) and I'm on the spam CDs they sell to idiots.
I moved away from my manual IP blacklist to the currently recommended RBL servers and am only getting a couple of spams a day now. So I appreciate this fine list. I have put up a help file for folks that do get blocked at http://www.serversmiths.com/blocked_email.html I think it's terse enough yet nice enough. I'd appreciate any feedback before I set it up in my RBL list. And any lister members are welcome to snarf the wording/layout for their own help file. Thanks, M./ -- I believe in artistocracy, though - if that is the right word, and if a democrat may use it. Not an aristocracy of power, based on rank and influence, but an aristocracy of the sensitive, the considerate and the plucky. Its members are to be found in all nations and classes, and all through the ages, and there is a secret understanding between them when they meet. They represent the true human tradition, the one permanent victory of our queer race over cruelty and chaos. Thousands of them perish in obscurity, a few are great names. They are sensitive for others as well as for themselves, they are considerate without being fussy, their pluck is not swankiness but the power to endure, and they can take a joke. -- E. M.
