Many thanks for both of your answers. It turns out that a quoted string DOES work in the blacklist. I blacklisted myself and tried it as follows: [192.168.0.3 "You are a known spammer"] SIMS appends the quoted string after its normal blacklist message, as is shown in this log entry: ======== 09:48:23 1 SMTP-087([192.168.0.3]) SPAM? Host is in the Blacklist, "you are a known spammer" 09:48:23 1 SMTP-087([192.168.0.3]) SPAM? Recipient '<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>' rejected: sending host is blacklisted, "you are a known spammer" ======== -- Neil Neil Herber, RGD Corporate info at http://www.eton.ca/ Eton Systems, 15 Pinepoint Drive, Nepean, ON, Canada K2H 6B1 Tel: (613) 829-4668 ############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
