my experience was that if I told sendmail to forward to a SMTP server and that SMTP server was a SIMS instance running in classic on the same box, I got a panic. If I let sendmail run locally and the destination was an account on the same box, I got a panic or a lockup. I described this to this list on 1/28/02 and got no response. In the end I decided I'd rather switch than fight, so I broke out an old server, installed 9.x, SIMS, and Macjordomo and updated my DNS records. I will be very interested to find out if the formmail.pl solution works. -- Michael Croft http://www.whiterose.org/michael SAM: It's 106 miles to the Crack of Doom.
