If you are looking for alternatives to Macjordomo, don't forget ListSTAR. It is a commercial (that is, not free) product that I have used for years. It is available in 2 flavors: ListSTAR POP which works extremely well with SIMS (my combo) and ListSTAR SMTP which has its own SMTP server built in. There are advantages to each one, but you cannot run ListSTAR SMTP and SIMS on the same IP number because they both need access to port 25. I used Macjordomo years ago and it worked well, but ListSTAR lets me write rules and scripts that can customize each service to the ultimate degree. Starnine let ListSTAR languish for many years and eventually sold it to MCF Software. MCF has revamped both the POP and SMTP versions. LetterRip is a great product but is only available in an SMTP version. I needed a POP product. I am not an employee or agent of MCF, just a satisfied customer. http://www.liststar.com/ -- Neil Neil Herber, RGD Corporate info at http://www.eton.ca/ Eton Systems, 15 Pinepoint Drive, Nepean, ON, Canada K2H 6B1 Tel: (613) 829-4668 ############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
