I doubt that it is SIMS that's at fault. There is a later dev
version that I am running (1.8b8d13). I have had no crashes at all, though
I am not running Filemaker. Onm other lists I am on, Filemaker is somewhat
notorious for wanting a system all to itself, so the problem may well be
that it's Filemaker's inability ro run with other apps.
Have you tried converting SIMS to run as an extension? That's the
way I am running it & it's been very stable indeed, as was 1.8b8 when I was
running it. My server is running Mac OS 9.1, SIMS 1.8b8 & WebTen 3.0.4 with
288MB RAM
I think you'll find that the problem is Filemaker itself - it was
probably fine until it had to share the system with some other app. I think
you'll find it would happen with other apps as well.
