Stefan

I use the same trick you do for disposable email addresses, but in a
slightly different way.

All of the addresses are in the form "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". I
set the prefix to something like "neil" and I set the suffix to
indicate who I gave the address to. So for example I could use
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]" for my postings here (I don't, but I could!).

I have a single router entry:
<prefix-*> = realaddress
which dumps all of the same prefixes into a single account. By
looking at the suffix I can tell who has sent me the mail or who has
passed it on to a spammer.

If one of the addresses becomes a spam magnet, I simply create a new
router entry:
<prefix-thespammagnet> = spamtrap

I use it as a spamtrap address because that increases the chances of
trapping other spam that is block addressed.

I also have created two real accounts called "closed" and "full". As
you might expect, I have closed the "closed" account and set the size
limit on the "full" account to zero. I can route undesirable senders
to either one, but I have found that they don't seem to deter
spammers. At least with a spamtrap address I can stop other spam.

Not sure if this rambling description is of any use ... I hope it is!
