Works fine for me, always has.  Perhaps it's your browser?  I'm using
vanilla IE 5.5 on Win2k, and the log window connection stays open.  New
entries add to the bottom in real time.

Rather than spam? though, I filter on rejected.  Thus I also see hits on
items routed to error, or failed outbound delivery.  I also filter on
password to check on log-in failures.
