Yes, it is smart, in order to being able to block mails to a
certain mail address once you find out that it has been compromised
and is now used by spammers.

Besides, I have seen mailing lists that show me my address. So,
it's just a missing "feature" that I think I should be able to
have. Computers, after all, are supposed to serve human, not
vice versa, as you seem to suggest :-)

Yes, I know why this is the case. Still, adding such a feature even
to a cheap list server, where the server does sent each mail individually
instead of sending them in a bulk, is just a few more lines to program.

There is, for instance, MaxBulkMailer, a tool that did not have this
feature originally. When I asked the author to include it, it was for
him a deal of an hour or so to implement it. (I am a pro developer
myself, so I know this stuff).

And what do I care if it makes it slow? I run a small community here,
and performance is of little concern. Again: This is my decision to make,
not the software's.

I've now sent a mail to the author. Perhaps he's allowing me to "fix"
this :-)
