Thanks for the suggestion, but I have it set that way already.  Sorry I
forgot to mention that.  I've also tried turning off "Relay for clients
only".

Any other suggestions?  I've tried a zillion things.

If you have SIMS' 'Relay for Clients Only' option enabled, then you need to
add the linux box's IP address to SIMS' client hosts list (in the SMTP
Service Settings).
