What I'd like to do is something like >this: > > 207.236.148.104-207.236.148.111; Really Bad Spamming, Inc. > 216.27.95.97; spamdomain.net's mail server spew.spam.com >Is that valid? Yes this does work, but it consumes some of the space available in the blacklist. I am not sure of the size, but the web interface can't seem to handle really long lists - so leaving comments out gives you more room for IPs. I actually save all the spam that makes me blacklist IPs into text files named with the IP number. I have them web-accessible so that spammers can see why they were hit. http://spam.eton.ca/ (look for the link on that page). >Second, in the release notes for version 1.8b8, it says: > "Custom messages can be sent to addresses blocked by black lists." >Ifound one entry in the archive that seemed to be making reference to >this by editing strings via ResEdit.
