I have set up a mirror in SIMS 1.8b8. I want to limit the size of messages people send to 1 Meg. However, based on my experiments, it looks like SIMS does NOT restrict the size of incoming mail unless it is being stored in a mailbox. In fact, it is limiting the size of the mailbox, not individual messages.
If I set the mailbox size to 1 Meg it begins to fill up (no-one is POPing the account, it is a pure mirror) and two 500 K messages will fill it up. Is there an Applescript hook into SIMS to get it to discard mail from a mail box? Or do I have to use the lame method of having a client running somewhere that POPs the mail? What would be ideal is if SIMS would offer a "discard after mirroring" option that would obey the mailbox size limit. -- Neil Neil Herber, RGD Corporate info at http://www.eton.ca/ Eton Systems, 15 Pinepoint Drive, Nepean, ON, Canada K2H 6B1 Tel: (613) 829-4668 ############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
