Hi again,
I posted a few days back on this, but didn't see it pop up &
haven't seen any replies on it.
As I mentioned a while back, I have now moved to OSX & the
attendant learning curve of using Sendmail, so I really miss SIMS' ease of
admin.
On another list, I noticed that a sendmail user had gotten
themselves into something of a nasty mail loop when they set autoreplies up
& I remembered that SIMS never seemed to have a problem with mail loops
occuring due to some inbuilt mechanism.
Can anyone tell me what SIMS uses to recognise & subsequently
prevent a mail loop occuring? I haven't been able to reproduce a mail loop
on my own pair of Mac OS 9.1 boxes both running SIMS, to be able to see
what the logs say. Thanks for your help.

        Bye for now, Terry Allen
