Right you are; however, the presence of a separate mail server on the pecandeluxe.com machine could indicate either that SIMS is set up to send via that machine or that it's somehow getting involved without anyone realizing it. Having the mail server there, and testing for it, might be relevant, though it is not necessarily so, and I thought (and still think) that it's worth knowing.
