There are still bugs with MMS. I've been waiting for a good, inexpensive webmail server for quite a while, and haven't seen one yet that fits both criteria. The good ones are expensive, the cheap ones are buggy. I'd love to migrate a bunch of my users to webmail of some sort, but right now I only do so very reluctantly.I've been using MMS 1.1.1 from http://www.magix.com.my/mms/ with sims and have not had a problem.
As much as I would like to have seen MMS become a contender (and I shelled out some bucks to the developer, hoping to see it happen), development seems to have stalled out a year or so ago. Maybe OSX took the wind out of its sails.
I've been hoping that Webstar's new, long-awaited webmail server would fit the bill (especially since i've already paid *that* bill...), but so far it looks like it still has some show stopping bugs too. With all the effort they've thrown at it so far, though, I expect they'll eventually get it working well.
